Since retiring from the Ohio Education Association in August of 2000, Dave has continued to serve the Amherst Teachers Association, Avon Lake Education Association, Clearview Education Association, Erie County DD Employees Association, Lorain Education Association,  Midview Education Association, North Ridgeville Education Association, Elyria School Support Staff, Oberlin Ohio Education Association and Sandusky Non-Teaching Employees Association. This was accomplished through a new OEA program called LOCAL OPTION, which gives the local associations the option of employing the consultant of their choice, utilizing a portion of their OEA dues rebated to them by the OEA executive committee.
